ONEIDA . . .
Damien David Williams, 16, of 437 Sayles Street, Oneida, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, December 30, 2020, following injuries sustained in a pedestrian/motor vehicle accident in Westmoreland.
He was born on February 24, 2004, in Pendleton, Oregon, the son of Johnathan C. Williams and Jody Lynn Lemon.
Damien spent his early years in Oregon, and has lived in the Oneida area most of his life, where he currently was a Junior at Oneida High School.
He loved sports, and played lacrosse, football, baseball, basketball, track and wrestling. Damien also enjoyed playing video games and spending time with his friends and family. He was a good student and enjoyed school.
Surviving are: his father and stepmother, Johnathan Williams and Ashley Smith of Oneida; brothers and sisters, Zackary and Zoey and their mother, Amy Couhnihan, and Graysin, Teagin, and Taylor; paternal grandmother, Valarie Berry of Watertown; paternal grandfather, John Williams of Florida; two uncles and an aunt, Gary and Brandy Williams, and Ted Williams; as well as great aunts and uncles, including Ernest Bourne of Solvay; and many cousins and friends. Damien was predeceased by an aunt, Michelle Barriger.
Due to the COVID 19 Pandemic, private services will be held at the convenience of the family. A Celebration of his Life will be held in the Spring at a date and time to be announced. Arrangements are under the supervision of the J. Homer Ball Funeral Home, Inc., 201 James Street, Canastota.
