CANASTOTA . . .
Robert M. Spaulding, 47, of 223 S. Canal Street, Canastota, passed away on Friday, November 3, 2023, at Samaritan Medical Center, Watertown, following a lengthy illness.
He was born on March 25, 1976, in Oneida, the son of the late Clifford Sr. and Patricia (Tedford) Spaulding.
Robert has lived in Canastota all of his life, graduating from Canastota High School in 1996.
He worked at Kwik Fill in Canastota for several years.
Robert enjoyed fishing, watching television, playing games on his Xbox, and spending time with his family.
Surviving are: one brother, Clifford L. Spaulding, Jr. of Canastota; two sisters and a brother-in-law, Christina and Timothy Collins, and Anne Haywood, all of Canastota; two nieces and two nephews: Sabrina Collins, Timothy Collins II, Thomas Spaulding, and Katlynn Haywood; two great nieces and one great nephew: Patti Collins, Angelina Case, and Dean Case; as well as aunts, uncles, and cousins. Robert was predeceased by a brother-in-law, Floyd Haywood.
Calling hours will be held from 5 to 6 p.m. on Friday, November 10, 2023, at the J. Homer Ball Funeral Home, Inc., 201 James Street, Canastota. At Robert's request, there will be no memorial service. Burial will be in Lenox Rural Cemetery, Canastota.
In his memory, contributions may be made to the American Diabetes Association, PO Box 7023, Merrifield, VA 22116-7023, with envelopes available at the funeral home.
