I was 14 when Denise and Alden got married. Honestly, I didn't know how to take her. She was so quiet. Compared to The Tribe of Ben. She was so polite and would whisper her contributions to the discussion in Alden's ear, for him to voice. Overtime, she hopped right in and accepted this vocal Bahamian family and appreciated that she was married to a favorite son. She shared Julia and Joseph with us and was a big old softie. She will be missed.

I used to work with Denise at ARC in the 80s. Denise was at my cousin's (Hugh) military funeral in Saratoga Springs. Thanks for that kindness, Denise. RIP, kind lady!
