John was my neighbor for over 20 years. He was always willing to help out with so many things, lawn mowing seemed to be his favorite. My daughter and his granddaughter Alyssa were good friends. He once made a house out of a cart that the girls pulled with a old lawnmower. He helped me make my pond bigger using his backhoe. My husband liked talking with him and he sure could talk. I could write a book with all the memories I have and he will be missed.

Betty Gail and family, so sorry for your loss. He truly was a joy when he came to see Dr. Wight. He always had a joke and took care to decide if it was going to be off color or not, depending on who his audience was. It was a pleasure knowing him.
